About I Met a Yeti:

Orlando, Florida’s 5-piece progressive post-hardcore outfit I Met A Yeti, has made waves in the genre with their EP titled Camp Yeti, a 5-track venture into the concepts of identity, relationships, and internal conflict. I Met a Yeti has gone on several tours since the release of Camp Yeti in October, sharing the stage with bands such as Adventurer and Sianvar. In the fall of 2019, the band signed to booking agency Dynamic Talent International.

About pulses.:
pulses., from Virginia, is a fresh offering of progressive post-hardcore. From humble beginnings in their debut album bouquet in 2017, the band has a clear-cut unique sound that sets them apart. Characterized by memorable genre-staple callouts and a passion for their craft, the four-piece has won the hearts of listeners in their short tenure. This group got their start with the LP bouquet. in 2017, before gearing up for 2020's Speak It Into Existence. pulses. then crafted the EP Speak Less, showcasing the heavier side of their songwriting with short, succinct wallops reminiscent of The Fall of Troy. It was this niche EP that the group themselves fell in love with and emphatically performed on large stages as soon as live performances came back in 2021. Keep your eyes on pulses. as the perfect exhibition of four friends creating unconventional tunes to a dedicated audience.

With Sails Ahead Announce New Single "Murder Mountain", Out Wednesday May 19th

with sails ahead murder mountain new single release spotify apple music morning sun

Progressive post-hardcore band With Sails Ahead have announced the release date for their upcoming single “Murder Mountain”. The new track is set to release Wednesday, May 19th on all major digital music platforms. This track is the follow-up to their single, “In Fear and Loathing”, previously released in November 2020.

Murder Mountain is a swift kick to the face in the form of brick-breaking rhythm guitars and aggressive vocals. The band set out to create their punchiest, darkest song sonically- a definitive statement that all future material will fully embody the progressive post-hardcore genre. Guitarist Josef Warner-Reyes found the process of writing the new track to be one of the smoothest:

“Not all songs come together as quickly and naturally as Murder Mountain. I wrote most of the song on my own before bringing it to my bandmates. I believe the organic songwriting process was captured perfectly when we recorded this song early last year. As we've grown together as musicians, we demonstrate that growth in our performances on this song.“

The imagery of the single art (and the upcoming music video) paint a picture of a treacherous mountain peak that many have failed to survive, but the lyrics are more like personal anecdotes for vocalist Sierra Binondo’s personal experiences trying to make sense of her relationships as a creative:

“When it was time to write lyrics for ‘Murder’, it was around a time where I felt very fed up with being taken advantage of for my kindness. People see me as someone who is happy to give and reciprocate, which I will always continue to do, but I still come across people who are only seeking out my time and resources for their gain. I struggle with communicating boundaries, but it’s appalling how some people don’t seem to understand (or care) when they’re being too persistent or selfish. The lyrics are super on the nose for me, but it felt like the song called for it.”

"Murder Mountain" will be available on all major digital retailers and streaming services Wednesday, May 19th, 2021, with a same-day music video premiere at 3:00 PM EST. The band will be celebrating the release with a Smash Ultimate stream on their Twitch.

Progressive Post-Hardcore Band With Sails Ahead to Release Single “In Fear and Loathing” Thursday, November 12th

New Jersey progressive post-hardcore group With Sails Ahead returns with their first single since 2018 on November 12th

Progressive rock band With Sails Ahead are elated to share the release date for their brand new single “In Fear and Loathing”.  Their first release since 2018, the track will be available on all digital music platforms and retailers on Thursday, November 12th.

In 2018, With Sails Ahead vocalist, Sierra Binondo, described her feelings of helplessness and anxiety lyrically, “No act of God can save me. I’m not brave, I’m just sorry,” inspiring their 2020 single release, “In Fear and Loathing.” Flash forward two years, and the sentiment remains the same. The newest track from the progressive post-hardcore group is a bombastic, high-energy song that explores the tumultuous tug-of-war between one’s fears and the pressure to put on a brave face. Sparkling guitar leads intertwined with syncopated grooves from the rhythm section and soaring vocals creates music akin to veterans of the band's genre. With Sails Ahead hopes the single serves as a release for those tired of fighting a fight they were not born to combat.

Vocalist Sierra Binondo shares, “I wrote these lyrics before I could fathom the global disasters that would occur years later around the time the single would finally be released. The song, both lyrically and instrumentally, conveys the urgency I constantly feel to survive as a functioning, confident human being in my twenties. My bandmates have contributed some wonderful flourishes to the song that truly make it our own, and we hope people will gravitate towards the message we hope to convey.”

"In Fear and Loathing" will be available on all major digital retailers and streaming services Thursday, November 12th, 2020. Pre-save the single on Spotify and Apple music here: https://ffm.to/rzwvxxo
